Alan B. Levan
Chairman and CEO
Alan B. Levan has served as Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of BBX Capital Corporation (NYSE: BBX), formerly known as BankAtlantic Bancorp, since 1994 and as Chairman of its former banking subsidiary BankAtlantic, from 1987 to 2012. Mr. Levan has also served as Chairman, President and Chief Executive Officer of BFC Financial Corporation (OTCQX: BFCF), including its predecessors, since 1978. He has also held the position of Chairman of Bluegreen Corporation from 2002 to current, and was a director of Benihana, Inc. (formerly listed on NASDAQ: BNHN) from 2009 to August 2012 when Benihana became a privately owned company. Mr. Levan served as Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of Woodbridge Holdings Corporation (formerly NYSE: WDG) and its predecessor from 1985 until 2009, when it merged into a wholly-owned subsidiary of BFC Financial Corporation.
Mr. Levan is currently a member of the Nova Southeastern University Board of Trustees and former Chairman of the Board of Directors for Broward College Foundation. He is the recipient of the Spirit of Humanity Award, as well as the Nova Southeastern University Entrepreneurship Hall of Fame Award, 2004 Cutting Edge Award and received the Ernst & Young Entrepreneur of the Year award for the state of Florida in 2003.
John E. Abdo
John E. Abdo, President of Abdo Companies, has served as Vice Chairman of BBX Capital Corporation (NYSE: BBX), formerly know as BankAtlantic Bancorp, since 1994, and as Vice Chairman of its former banking subsidiary, BankAtlantic, from 1987 to 2012. Mr. Abdo has served as a director of BFC Financial Corporation (OTCQX: BFCF) and as Vice Chairman since 1993. He is also the Vice Chairman of Bluegreen Corporation. Mr. Abdo formerly served as Vice Chairman of Benihana, Inc. (formerly listed on NASDAQ: BNHN) from 1990 until August 2012 when Benihana became a privately owned company. In addition, he was Vice Chairman of Woodbridge Holdings Corporation (formerly NYSE: WDG) and its predecessor from 2001 until 2009, when it was merged into a wholly-owned subsidiary of BFC Financial Corporation.
Mr. Abdo is an active member of the Board of Directors of the Broward Performing Arts Center Authority (PACA). He previously served as President, and currently serves as director and chairman of the Finance Committee of the Broward Performing Arts Foundation.
Jarett S. Levan
President and Director
Jarett S. Levan is the President of BBX Capital Corporation (NYSE: BBX), formerly known as BankAtlantic Bancorp, and has served on its board of directors since 1999. He also served on the board of directors of its former banking subsidiary, BankAtlantic, since 1999 and as its Chief Executive Officer and President from 2007 to 2012. He joined BankAtlantic as an attorney in the Legal Department in January 1998 and has served in various capacities including as Chief Marketing Officer; President, Alternative Delivery; President, BankAtlantic.com; and Manager of Investor Relations. He has served as a director of BFC Financial Corporation (OTCQX: BFCF) since September 2009 and as Executive Vice President of BFC Financial Corporation since April 2011.
Mr. Levan currently serves as a director of the Broward Performing Arts Foundation, the Broward Workshop, the Broward Alliance and the Fort Lauderdale Museum of Art. He also serves as Chair for Business for the Arts of Broward.
Steven M. Coldren
Mr. Coldren is President/Founder of Business Information Systems, Inc., a distributor of commercial recording systems since 1982. Until 2004, Mr. Coldren was also Chairman of Medical Information Systems, Corp., a distributor of hospital computer systems. Mr. Coldren was a director of the former BankAtlantic for over 26 years and a director of the Company for over 18 years.
Bruno L. Di Giulian
Mr. Di Giulian joined the law firm of Conrad & Scherer, LLP as a partner in 2009. Mr. Di Giulian previously was an attorney at the law firm of Ruden McClosky, from which he retired his of counsel position in 2006. He also operates his own law firm, Bruno L. Di Giulian. P.A. Attorney at Law. Mr. Di Giulian was a director of the former BankAtlantic for over 27 years and a director of the Company for over 18 years.
Willis N. Holcombe
Dr. Holcombe was appointed interim president of Florida State College at Jacksonville in December of 2012 and held that position until his retirement in December of 2013. Previously, Dr. Holcombe served as the Chancellor of the Florida College System from October 2007 to November 2011. Dr. Holcombe was the President of Broward Community College from January 1987 until January 2004, and he subsequently served as the interim President of Broward Community College from November 2006 to July 2007.
Anthony P. Segreto
Mr. Segreto joined WTVJ in 1968 as an intern. During his tenure he worked as a photographer, producer, reporter, and anchor for both sports and news. In 1995, he was honored by the South Florida chapter of the National Academy of Television Arts and Sciences (NATAS) with the prestigious Silver Circle Award, recognizing over 25 years of excellence in broadcast journalism. A native of South Florida, Mr. Segreto's track record speaks volumes of his enthusiasm and commitment to the charitable causes of the South Florida community. He is a board member of the Dan Marino Foundation, Boys and Girls Club of Broward, and Community Foundation of Broward and is the spokesperson for the 211 Broward, and Forever Family. In addition, he serves on the Advisory Board of the Nova Southeastern University Huizenga School of Business. Further, Mr. Segreto is also a member of the Orange Bowl Committee, and the Board of Directors of the Miami Sports Commission. His Hall of Fame inductions include the Greater Miami Chamber of Commerce Sports Hall of Champions, for a lifetime contribution to sports and the Miami-Dade College Hall of Fame.
Charlie C. Winningham II
Mr. Winningham is a private investor. He was the President of C.C. Winningham Corporation, a land surveying firm, from 1963 until his retirement in 2003. The Board believes that it benefits from Mr. Winningham’s experience in the real estate market resulting from his service as President of C.C. Winningham Corporation for 40 years. Mr. Winningham was a director of the former BankAtlantic for over 36 years and director of the Company for over 18 years.
Norman H. Becker
Norman H. Becker is currently, and has been for more than ten years, self-employed as a Certified Public Accountant. Mr. Becker was the Chief Financial Officer and Treasurer of Proguard Acquisition Corp. as well as a member of its Board of Directors until his resignation from such positions during June 2012. Mr. Becker was previously a partner with Touche Ross & Co., the predecessor of Deloitte & Touche LLP, for more than ten years. He has served as a director of Bluegreen since 2003. He also served as a director of Benihana until August 2012 when Benihana was acquired by Safflower.
